Custom & OEM Projects

TeakNation partners with hospitality groups, importers, and retail brands to develop furniture that carries their own specification — not ours. Whether you're outfitting a resort chain, launching a private-label collection, or need an existing design adapted to your project's dimensions, our custom and OEM program is built around your drawings, not a catalog.

Three Ways We Work With You

1. Private Label Manufacturing

We produce to your brand standard and ship under your name. Your logo on the crate, your tags on the product, your packaging specification — TeakNation stays behind the scenes as your manufacturing partner. No reference to our name appears anywhere in your supply chain documentation unless you want it to.

2. Dimension & Specification Adjustments

Need one of our existing designs resized for a specific room layout, a different seat height for a hospitality contract, or a finish that matches your project's material palette? Our team reworks the technical drawing, confirms feasibility, and quotes the adjusted piece without starting from a blank page — keeping cost and lead time close to standard production.

3. Full Custom Development

For architects, interior designers, and hospitality procurement teams with their own concept, we build from your technical drawings or reference imagery. This path is common for resort and restaurant projects that need a cohesive, project-specific furniture line rather than assembled catalog pieces.

How a Custom or OEM Project Moves Forward

  1. Share your drawing or reference. CAD files, hand sketches, or a reference photo with target dimensions are enough to start a conversation.
  2. Costing & feasibility review. Our production team checks the design against solid teak construction methods and container-loading efficiency, and returns a costed quotation.
  3. Sample production. A physical sample is built to your specification before any production commitment, so you can inspect joinery, finish, and proportions in person or via detailed photo/video documentation.
  4. Sign-off & production scheduling. Once the sample is approved, the order enters our production queue at our Jepara facility, with the same quality control process applied to every standard TeakNation order.
  5. Production & export preparation. Finished pieces move through our centralized finishing and QC facility before packing — see our Export Preparation & Logistics page for how orders are packed and shipped.

Project Volumes & Lead Times

Custom and OEM orders are generally quoted per project rather than against a fixed catalog MOQ, since volume depends on the complexity of the design and the number of SKUs involved. As a guide, sample-stage MOQs for adapted designs typically start around 200 units for chairs and 50 units for tables, consistent with our standard production minimums. Full custom development for hospitality projects is scoped individually based on drawing complexity and finish requirements. Lead time for custom production generally runs in line with our standard ~60-day production cycle, plus sampling time, and is confirmed in writing before production begins.

Built for Hospitality & Project-Scale Buyers

Our hybrid production model — a network of partner workshops feeding a single 3,000 sqm finishing, QC, and packing facility in Bangsri, Jepara — means custom orders receive the same legality documentation (SVLK-verified) and quality checks as our standard collections, at project scale. This has made the program a fit for resort furnishing packages, restaurant and cafe chains, and retail brands building a private-label outdoor teak line.
